Jim Ruth
Executive Vice President & General Counsel
Jim Ruth was named Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Peregrine Midstream Partners after previously serving as general counsel at Falcon Gas Storage Company for two and a half years. During more than 35 years in the energy industry, Jim held various positions in Texas Eastern Corporation's legal department from 1975-1990 and then spent the next 15 years working for TEPPCO Partners as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. While at TEPPCO in 2005, he was recognized as one of Houston's outstanding general counsels by the Houston Business Journal. Jim earned a Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Economics and Business Administration from Phillips University.
