John Hopper was co-founder and former president and CEO of Falcon Gas Storage Company prior to forming Peregrine Midstream Partners in 2009.  The founder/co-founder of four start-up energy companies since 1980, John has more than 33 years of experience in the energy industry.  From 1994 to 2000, he was president and CEO of Inventory Management and Distribution Company, Inc. (IMDCI), which pioneered the commercial optimization of storage and transportation assets for local distribution companies during the early phases of pipeline unbundling.  John also held various executive positions with Tejas Power Corporation (TPC) from 1989 to 1994 and was lead counsel for TPC in the historic pipeline unbundling decision before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tejas Power Corporation vs. FERC (D.C.Cir. 1990).  Before joining TPC, he was an attorney with the Butler & Binion law firm, specializing in oil and gas transactions as well as energy regulatory matters.  John earned a Juris Doctorate degree with honors from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
